Grounded in the World is an exhibition for the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture. It premieres short films Yangshuo, Guilin and Introducing Fertile.
Yangshuo, Guilin (Grounded in the World, 2022). 阳朔，桂林 （扎根于世界，2022).
Yangshuo, Guilin is the first episode of Fertile, the series where we ask our neighbours what they care about. The episode follows a father’s journey to love and educate his son, both in the village and in the city.
Featuring A Hui, Rocky, and Susu.

Introducing Fertile (Grounded in the World, 2022). 介绍的富饶 （扎根于世界，2022). Introducing Fertile shows clips from the Fertile video series, in which guests discuss life in the village and in the city. The conversations range from infrastructure development to family relationships, and habits of consumption and play. The 30 minute film reel features:

- Binki Xie, Sustainability Advocate and Entrepreneur
- Jessica Yang, Photographer and Journalist
